We spent years working with financial establishments and multi-family offices in Switzerland. We watched these organisations struggle with a painful contradiction: the AI tools that could transform their work required them to send their most confidential data — client portfolios, legal agreements, strategic correspondences — to external cloud providers. Every API call was a bet that the provider would not retain, leak, or train on their data. Every integration was an act of trust they could not afford.
We knew the alternative existed: run the models on hardware you own, inside your walls, with no outbound connections. The technology was there — open-weights LLMs had matured, GPU pricing had stabilised, inference servers were production-ready. What was missing was a partner who could pull all of it together: hardware, software, integration, security verification, and ongoing support — delivered with Swiss-level engineering discipline and a deep understanding of the professional environments involved.
So we built E-Y. We earned our NVIDIA AI Infrastructure and Operations certification to ensure we understand GPU architecture at the deepest level. We developed our engineering methodology around a single non-negotiable principle: compute and storage shall never leave the client's premises. And we committed to serving the professions where that principle is not a preference — it is a legal, ethical, and professional obligation.
